Dual+ Serum
Dual+ Serum

Dual+ is formulated with a unique combination of two forms of azelaic acid and lightening actives to offer a double action against pigment spots and emerging breakouts. Comedolytic and non-comedogenic effect.
Azelaic acid is a clinically backed active for fading pigmentation and calming inflammation, commonly used for melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation and rosacea. It's also increasingly recommended alongside tretinoin: while tretinoin helps turn skin over and clear pigment-containing cells, it can be irritating for some skin types. Azelaic acid's calming effect helps counteract that irritation, making the combination well suited to pigmentation and rosacea-prone skin.
Prescribed to target the appearance of pigment spots and acne-prone skin induced imperfections.

Azelaic acid
Versatile active recognized for helping to reduce melanin production, decrease bacteria growth in the follicle and normalize skin keratinization.
Effective on acne-prone skin and pigment spots.
Potassium azeloyl diglycinate
Azelaic acid derivative that helps to inhibit melanin synthesis, reduce sebum secretion and provide skin hydration.
Hexylresorcinol
Innovative skin lightening agent that reduces melanin synthesis by acting at different levels in the melanogenesis pathway.
Alpha-arbutin
One of the most potent actives that reduces tyrosinase activity and therefore the production of melanin.
Apply in the evening to the full face focusing especially on the areas of concern. Increase frequency progressively, up to 2 times per day.
Can I use Dual+ with tretinoin?
Yes, this is a well-regarded combination. Tretinoin helps turn over skin cells containing pigment, and azelaic acid's calming effect helps offset any irritation tretinoin can cause, particularly useful for pigmentation and rosacea-prone skin.
Can I use Dual+ with vitamin C or retinol?
Yes, azelaic acid generally pairs well with both. We'd recommend starting slowly and checking with your clinician if you're layering multiple actives for the first time.
Is Dual+ suitable for rosacea?
Yes, azelaic acid is well tolerated on reactive, rosacea-prone skin and is commonly used to help calm inflammation and redness. Patch testing is always a good idea if you're prone to sensitivity.
How long until I see results?
Most people notice improved texture within 4 to 6 weeks, with visible pigmentation changes from around 8 weeks with consistent use.
Do I need a consultation before buying?
Dual+ is available to purchase directly, but if you're new to azelaic acid, managing acne-prone skin, or combining it with other actives like tretinoin, we'd recommend a quick chat with our team first.
