Concerns we address

Many women experience changes during perimenopause and menopause that affect both health and appearance. We support women through weight changes, hormonal imbalance, hair loss, PCOS, acne, melasma, skin laxity, and loss of facial volume. Our approach combines lifestyle and hormonal guidance with targeted skin and aesthetic treatments to help you feel healthy and confident during this stage of life.

Our approach

Our care is holistic and personalised. We focus on lifestyle and hormonal health, and complement that with advanced skin and aesthetic treatments. The goal is natural, balanced results that help you feel healthy, refreshed, and comfortable in your skin during and after menopause.

Your consultation

Your consultation is tailored to your needs. We review your health history, lifestyle, and main concerns, then create a plan that may include lifestyle and hormonal guidance plus skin and aesthetic treatments. Depending on your goals, we may recommend hormone replacement therapy such as HRT or MHT. If needed we prescribe hormonal treatment with variants of oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone. We may also employ wrinkle-reduction treatments, volume restoration, therapies for skin laxity and collagen production, or skin-boosting treatments for hydration and overall skin health.

Treatments we offer

We offer a range of treatments to support skin quality and confidence. These include wrinkle-reduction treatments, treatments for volume loss, therapies to improve skin laxity and collagen production, and skin-boosting treatments for hydration and overall skin health. Dr Maryam Dehkordi leads this service and will work with you to design a plan that fits your needs.

  • What is perimenopause and when does it typically start?

Perimenopause is the transition period before menopause when hormone levels begin to change. It often starts in a woman's 40s but can begin earlier. Symptoms can include irregular periods, hot flushes, mood changes, and skin and hair changes. We can support you through this stage with holistic care and targeted treatments.

  • How can hormonal changes affect my skin?

Hormonal shifts during perimenopause and menopause can lead to acne, melasma, dryness, skin laxity, and loss of facial volume. We address these with lifestyle and hormonal guidance plus skin and aesthetic treatments to improve skin quality and confidence.

  • Do I need a referral to book a Women's Health consultation?

A GP referral is not required to book. You can make an appointment directly. If you have a referral, bring it along so we can include it in your care plan.

  • What does a typical consultation involve?

Your consultation includes a discussion of your health history, lifestyle, and main concerns. We then create a personalised plan that may include lifestyle and hormonal guidance, plus skin and aesthetic treatments tailored to your goals.

  • Who will I see?

Dr Maryam Dehkordi leads the Women's Health service. She provides holistic, personalised care for women through perimenopause and menopause.

  • What treatments are available?

We offer wrinkle-reduction treatments, volume restoration, therapies for skin laxity and collagen production, and skin-boosting treatments for hydration and overall skin health. Your plan is tailored to your needs and goals.

  • How often will I need follow-up appointments?

Follow-up frequency depends on your plan and treatments. Some treatments involve a series of sessions; others are maintenance-based. We will recommend a schedule during your consultation.

  • What results can I expect?

Our goal is natural, balanced results that help you feel healthy, refreshed, and comfortable in your skin during and after menopause. Results vary by person and treatment plan.
