Alanna Adams

Alanna Adams is a highly experienced Registered Nurse (Div 1) with over 30 years in nursing and more than 12 years dedicated to dermatology and skin cancer detection. She holds formal accreditation as a Melanographer through the Australasian College of Dermatologists and has extensive experience in dermoscopy, skin imaging and comprehensive skin checks.

In addition to her clinical work, Alanna assists in teaching dermoscopy and skin check workshops with the Australasian College of Dermatologists, helping to train the next generation of skin health professionals. She has also worked closely with plastic surgeons, gaining valuable experience in procedural and surgical care.

Alanna consults three days per week in Shepparton, where she leads nurse-led dermatology clinics in collaboration with Dr Alice Rudd (Dermatologist). She provides full skin checks, UVB therapy for psoriasis, eczema and other inflammatory conditions, acne management and effective wart treatments.

Her professional interests lie in the early detection and prevention of skin cancer, as well as improving patient access to high-quality dermatological care in regional communities.
