As the weather begins to warm up you may notice some changes in your skin. The most common change we see is an increase in oil production.

A simple switch in your cleanser can help to manage the oil flow during this period.

An option that we love is the Aspect Purastat cleanser. It is a lactic acid based cleanser which is great at removing dirt, makeup and excess oil, it also contains Canadian Willowherb which is a calming antioxidant to reduce skin irritation.

This cleanser is perfect for night time use. Apply 2-3 pumps into damp hands, emulsify on the face for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then rinse off.  Serums and moisturisers can be applied straight after.

As lactic acid is an AHA, it will gently exfoliate the skin daily, so it is important to continue to use an SPF in the morning.
